I am Head Chick, photographer and owner of Sonoma Chicks located in Sonoma, California. Sonoma Chicks is a small rescue and hobby farm, where I take in animals and give them a forever home. I photograph them and make art that helps to finance the farm. I am a native of Norway and wanted to create something that was reflective of where I was born and raised.
“A sanctuary that started with chicks and grew into chickens and so much more: goats, a tortoise, geese, ducks, quails, rabbits, parakeets, cats and a dog. As a photographer and now a farmer, my animals are my inspiration and source for my art.”
